It is very nice movie. In all most charactors are very innocent.
Sanju,I agree with you that Dalits have been deprived for thdaounss of years. It is true that the reservation system has done lot of good for the Dalits in the last 65 years.I also think that the caste system in India was the greatest corrupt practice by human beings anywhere in the world. It was designed by people in power 2500 years ago to deny opportunities of life to other people’s children and is still being practiced in some of the villages of India.I also believe that Indians have been socially mobile to a great degree. So there is no genetic difference between different castes as found with modern DNA tests. This has happened through migrations. To escape the branding of caste, a lower caste family would always try the migrate out of its village and then assume a slightly higher caste label in the new location. This happened continuously for the past 2500 years. That is why a north Indian Dalit’s DNA is much closer to a North Indian Brahmin than to a South Indian Dalit. Similarly a North Indian Brahmin’s DNA is much closer to a North Indian Dalit than to a South Indian Brahmin. Therefore there is no racial difference between different castes in India. We are actually all biologically related to each other ..as can be expected we are closer to each other depending on the geographical distance and not the caste distance. When a Dalit gets a government job, he easily learns the art of extortion just like a Brahmin in a government job does. Both are equally efficient at extorting money from helpless citizens. In practice today there are only two castes in India today. Those working for the government are the modern higher caste and all other Indians are the modern lower caste. As in the original caste system, the higher caste exploits the lower caste.Replacing one kind of caste system with another kind of caste system is not a solution. Two wrongs do not make one right .I also agree with you that the private sector must have reservations for the weaker sections of society. In fact the real provider of employment in any healthy economy is the private sector not the government. Without reservations in private sector, the weaker sections will take a very long time to enjoy the benefits of development. I cannot understand why private sector businesses oppose reservations. However reservations must be limited to a single generation in one family. If somebody has joined the modern economy and migrated from the village to the city with a proper job in the organized sector(whether private or government), his children no longer need reservation. In the cities of India there is no caste prejudice. There is no untouchability. All opportunities of development are available to all who can afford them so there is no need for reservation on caste basis.
